I would like to announce the recent publication of Mennonite Girl, through Bryler Publications, Inc in Chester, Nova Scotia. Check it out at www.brylerpublications.com
More later…
I would like to purchase a copy of this book, but only if the author will sign it “to my friend Greg”

I just finished reading Mennonite Girl and absolutely loved it. I grew up in the same era and so many of the tales reminded me of my own upbringing and experiences. I too was at Expo 67, travelling with my parents and 3 siblings from the Maritimes with a travel trailer which we parked in my uncle’s driveway. My mother sewed all of our clothes, and yes, on my 8th birthday I received a home sewn wool kilt, orange plaid with orange leotards and matching orange sweater. Thank you for this wonderful story!
My brother suggested I might like this blog. He was totally right. This post truly made my day. You can not imagine simply how much time I had spent for this information! Thanks!
